About Sabrina Adaba
Sabrina Adaba Beauty is a New York City-based mobile beauty vendor. We specialize in creating breathtaking hair and makeup looks for special occasions. All artists are licensed and have ability with ALL hair textures and skin tones.
Our founder Sabrina Adaba has over 17 years of natural hair care and styling experience. Bringing naturally textured hair to the forefront of bridal beauty is her passion. In 2007, she received her cosmetology license at American Beauty School. She also received her Makeup for Photography Certificate from Makeup Forever. She continues her professional development thanks to training from Vidal Sassoon, Kristina Gasperas Academy, and Sharon Blaine amongst others. Natural haircare superstars Tippi Shorter, Charlotte Mensah, and Ursula Stephens are her idols.
Born & raised in the Bronx, Sabrina’s work has been featured in Vanity Fair, Elle Bulgaria, Glamour Bulgaria, and other publications. In addition, for several years she worked as a Pro Artist for L'Oreal Paris. Soon after, she became the lead hairstylist for Pucker Makeup Studio in SoHo.
Sabrina is inspired by the versatility of natural hair. Afro-futurism, anime, fine art, and history are other influences. She’s always ready to test shoot and to find other creatives to team build and inspire new creative works!
